3 Life Habits That’ll Set You Up For Weight Loss Success

All of us are the product of our habits. It’s taken me a very long while to fully comprehend this ultimate truth, but now that I have, I have to say that it’s been a liberating realization.

It’s liberating because once we fully understand our habits and how they are affecting our lives, we gain a powerful insight into how we can them work on new habits to improve our lives – because the only way to break a bad habit is to replace it with a new one.

This applies as much to weight loss as to any other aspect of our lives. Our body shape is a product of our eating and lifestyle habits after all.

So, here’s some lifestyle change habits that will help move you on to long term success in both losing weight and then keeping it off…

Blackcurrant Supplement Claimed To Burn As Much Fat As 4 Weeks Of Regular Exercise

There’s something about I’ve always loved blackcurrants, in all of it’s forms. There’s something about their combination of tartness and sweetness that always hits the right spot for me. I’ve always assumed them to be a very healthy food as well, very rich in vitamin C and anti-oxydants and science backs up that assumption as well.

However, I’d never really thought of them as as being a huge help for those of us who are trying to drop some weight. But it turns out that they may well be just that.

A company in New Zealand has developed of blackcurrant based supplement that they claim can show huge improvements in weight loss in just one week, and that claim seems to be backed up by some fairly rigorous scientific testing.

It’s marketed under the brand name CurraNZ and is now available for sale, in the UK at least.

Why Women Over 40 Have More Trouble Losing Weight (even Charlize Theron)

le partners dropping the pounds with far less The movie “Tully” is about a mom called Marlo (played by Charlize Theron) who just had her third child and is on the very brink of postpartum depression, until her brother sends a night nanny (Tully) to her rescue.

In order to be able to play the role realistically, the ever fit and gorgeous Charlize Theron had to pile on 50 pounds of excess weight in order to accurately depict what a real postnatal body looks like. Although Charlize is no stranger to body transformation, she says losing the weight after the movie was complete took a lot longer at 42 than it did in her 20s.

“It took me a year and a half to lose that weight. It was one of the hardest things that my body went through — and women do this every day,” she told NPR. “When I do it, people are like ‘so brave’ — and I’m like: No. Women do this all the time and we don’t acknowledge it enough.”

It’s a fact that as one’s metabolism slows down, it becomes a lot harder to shed those extra pounds that you may be carrying around. This is especially true for women, so it can be doubly frustrating if you’re in this age group and trying to lose weight with a male partner or friend.

So what are the main reasons women over 40 find it so much harder to lose weight…

Keto Diet Plan Helps “Jersey Shore’s” Vinny Drop A Huge 50 lbs!

Left: March/2015. Around 197 lbs. Around 25% body fat. Eating a high carbohydrate/sugary diet. Right: June/2016. Around 160 lbs. Around 12-13% body fat. On a high healthy fat / keto/ plant diet and I haven’t turned back. All natural through food and exercise. These are MY results.Everyones body is different, but I do believe this way of eating will help the majority of people lose weight and be healthy. Studies prove that the government has steered us the complete wrong way for nutrition and foods that we think we shouldn’t eat we should, and foods that we shouldn’t eat take up 99% of the grocery store. I started this page to help people who WANT to learn more about this. And share my findings with those that do. People who disagree are welcome as well. You need discourse to learn and discover. But I will post my products, research, and findings here that work for me. Enjoy

The keto diet plan certainly seems to have helped for one particular media star…

The cast of Jersey Shore are mostly known for their buffed bodies and tans. However for one member – Vinny, this was something of a falsehood. As he admitted to himself, he was quite seriously obese, and the situation was steadily getting worse rather than better.

A poor diet of sugary drinks and junk food had left him badly out of shape and in worsening health. So he decided to finally get serious about it.

Someone suggested looking at the keto diet plan and so he started reading up about it, and more importantly, he determined to actually start doing it as well! The results are impressive as you can see. 50 pounds less and looking and feeling better, he’s now become a true disciple of the keto diet plan.

World’s Most Obese Boy Loses Title After Dropping A Massive 183lbs

I really wasn’t sure whether or not I should post this up, after I found out about it yesterday It does after all deal with the subject of a young child. However, I thought that his story was really inspiring and so I decided to share it.

12 year old Indonesian Arya Permana was named by the Indonesian Wold Records Museum as the world’s most obese child (as if we really need to keep records like that 🙁 !). He weighed in at a staggering 418 pounds, and was quite obviously suffering huge health problems as a result.

Last year though we undertook gastric surgery and embarked on a disciplined exercise and diet regime. As a result of this he lost a huge 183 lbs, almost half his body mass, and is now starting to enjoy life again.

Young Arya Permana lost nearly half of his body weight in a year:

Before:

It’s clear from this that if something drastic hadn’t been done then he was heading for a tragically early demise. As a parent this image truly broke my heart.

After:

What a Change! He obviously still has a way to go, and his goal is to lose another 100 – 100 lbs, but he’s now well on the way to a much happier and healthy life.

In his own words: “I lost my appetite, now even six spoons [of food] already makes me full. They ask me to eat more fruits and do exercise regularly. I’m now so delighted to have the opportunity to play with friends wherever I want”.

Although I pretty strongly disagree with using surgery for weight loss, I have to admit that in this case it was not only a good thing, it was an absolute necessity. Without it he probably wouldn’t be with us today.

I wish young Arya every success in his efforts and would really like to see another picture of him in a year from now!

A Man Fat-Shamed This Woman Inside A Busy Café – Here’s What Went Down

When Melanie Tait, from the city of Hobart in Australia went to visit her favorite café one sunny Saturday morning, she expected to simply get a cup of coffee and a bite to eat. She certainly didn’t expect to be on the receiving end of a fat shaming tirade from a total stranger.

What actually happened that day totally shook her world upside down. Another customer in the place (a fairly young man) actually had the appallingly bad manners to call her “fat” in front of everyone else in the place.

Presumably he felt that the fact that he was young and still quite slim gave him some to of right to criticize others who didn’t measure up to his perceived standards? What a terrible attitude this is, but unfortunately it’s one that seems to be getting more and more common. Fat shaming it seems is something that’s become acceptable in many sectors of society.

Check out Melanie’s story over the Next Page…

11 Keto Recipes You’ll Come Back To Again And Again

The Ketogenic Diet has been around for some time now, and I guess that’s it’s not difficult to see the reason why.

If you’re new to the concept, the Ketogenic Diet is based on consuming high quantities of protein (think bacon, butter, cheese) and massively reduced quantities of carbohydrates. Replacing carbs with fats apparently puts the body into a state called ketosis, where it becomes very efficient at consuming it’s own body fat as a source of energy

I mean, let’s be honest – a diet where you can consume meat, cream, cheese, butter and bacon all sounds to good to be true, right?

Having said all that, I have to come out right up front and say that personally I was somewhat more than a bit skeptical of it all. As someone who’s grown to love a diet that’s high in vegetable content and low in protein (especially animal protein), the idea of eating all that high fat content seems to be just plain wrong. And what happens when your body fat runs out?

All the same, I have to admit that the recipes over the next pages that I’ve gathered together are very tempting (nb: I tried some of them but not all), maybe enough to give the keto diet a try even?

Head over the Next Page for the first recipe…

If Meat Eaters Acted Like Vegans – Controversial But Funny

OK, I’ll come right out and admit it – I eat meat!

There, I’m glad I got that out into the open, I feel a lot better now. I will state for the record that I also enjoy my veggies, in fact I enjoy them a lot, but I still value my meat ration as well.

So, like many others I do sometimes find the Holier Than Thou attitude of some dedicated vegans more than a little irritating. Look, I don’t care if you’re vegan, that’s fine with me, and I enjoy eating a lot of vegan dishes, but please stop pushing your message at me every time you open your mouth.

So that’s why, when I came across this video I just had to post it up. Yeah, I know, it’s going to offend some people, or maybe it’ll upset you. But hey, I’ve never believed that anyone has a right to not be offended, so if you are then just accept that other people might have different views to you.

Anyway, just check out the video over the page…

I Totally Cracked Up With Laughter Watching This: The Time Travel Dietitian

Sometimes we all get so worked up about our new healthy lifestyles and diet plans that we become perhaps just a little bit obsessive about it all, don’t you agree?

It’s understandable of course. After all, our new lifestyles are making us all look and feel better, so it’s probably natural that we pay attention to every little detail about them want to spread the word to all those around us.

Sometimes though it’s good to just lighten up a little and just learn to laugh at ourselves a bit. So that’s why I shared this video with you. There’s not many videos that actually make me laugh out loud, but this one certainly did.

It depicts a dietitian from the future intervening (constantly!) in the lives of a couple from the seventies. As they attempt to eat their breakfast of fried eggs and bacon, this annoying guy from the future keeps coming back with the latest news as to what they’re doing wrong. It’s not long, so take a few minutes to enjoy it.

Here’s 6 Things You Should NEVER Do After Eating. How Guilty Are You?

If you’re on a weight control diet or ever have been then you’re probably like me and have become somewhat obsessive about the food you consume – right?

There’s absolutely nothing wrong with that of course. After all, it’s always better to pay attention to what you consume than to simply eat whatever takes your fancy at the time, and if we all did this then our society would be a whole lot healthier and happier.

But you’re also probably the same as me in another way as well. Like most people, I’ve given very little (actually probably none at all) thought as to what I should be doing after eating my meals. Am I right?

It turns out though that bad habits after eating can totally nullify the effects of the healthy diet we’re trying to stick to. So watch this interesting little video on three things you should never do after eating. I know that I’m frequently guilty of at least a couple of them – how about you?
