Keto – The Diet Celebrities Are Obsessed With And Why You Shouldn’t Be

I’ve been writing about the keto diet quite a bit recently, and I have to admit that I’ve become quite a fan of it. For me it’s been producing some really good results with some fairly minimal work and dedication.

So when I came across the following article, it did open my eyes a little wider to say the very least. I know that some nutritionists have been less than impressed with ketogenics, but this is quite hard-hitting, and I thought I’d put it out there in the interests of producing a balanced view.

Which Is Best: Grazing Or 3 Meals A Day?

The trend towards “grazing” has been gathering strength for a long while now and it’s proponents claim all sort of health and weight control benefits for it, but do they actually stack up?

The basic theory behind grazing is that we should attempt to eat twice as often, but with half the volume each time (and also that we should chew for twice as long). This according to the gurus much more closely mimics how our distant ancestors consumes their food, and as such it’s the way our bodies are designed to cope with.

It certainly sounds plausible, but then the world of weight control is littered with fad diets that haven’t stood up to thorough scrutiny. So what do the experts say?

This Woman Dropped 65 lbs By Using The “3 Hour Reset Rule”

Any of us who have ever tried to diet (and if you’re reading this then I’m guessing that includes you) know that awful feeling…

You’ve worked really hard at controlling your food intake and you’re starting to feel good. There’s a definite difference in the waistline, and – hell yea! The scales show you actually lost a couple pounds.

And then – there’s that moment of weakness, you reach out for that cake, and before you know it you’re good work is totally undone.

Instead of feeling bad about yourself, do what Australian fitness trainer Tiffany Hall does, and apply the “3 Hour Reset Rule”.

What is this? Head over the next page for an explanation…

Low Carb Sweeteners – Avoid These 3!

Most of us (yes, I’ve got my own hand raised) enjoy the taste of something sweet, at least on an occasional basis.

Yes, I know that our vegetables and certain fruits are what we should really be striving for, but dammit, sometimes you just gotta do what you gotta do – right? Having said that, I have made strenuous efforts to rid my diet of refined sugar and concentrate on sweeteners instead.

Now it seems that some sweeteners are pretty much as bad as sugar for you. So, which ones should you be avoiding? Watch the video over the next page to find out…

So Just What CAN You Eat On A Keto Diet?

The word diet more often than not conjures up negative images and thoughts in our minds, don’t you agree?

The very concept of dieting seems to be about going without and taking away all the enjoyable foods we used to love. So it’s not at all surprising that most people end up giving up on them quite quickly.

The keto diet is no exception. When I first looked at it, the only thing that went through my mind was “oh no! There’s no possible way I can give up on all these food items”.

So that’s why I’ve posted up this video. It’s fairly short at 12:50, but it does a good job at not only listing foods you can eat on a keto diet, but categorizing them as well into logical groups.

The Beginners Guide To Going Keto

I’m rapidly converting from being a total keto skeptic to instead becoming a convert.

What at first seemed like nothing more than a flaky sort of fad, is rapidly becoming mainstream with more and more of the medical profession coming on board. I’ll be honest, I haven’t yet gone the whole distance to becoming 100% keto, but I suspect I eventually will do so.

During my research into it, I’ve started to realize that ketogenics is not in reality so much a dieting method as in fact a whole way of life, and I’ll be honest, that’s a bit hard to commit to.

So, I came across this video (from a qualified MD) that really does a good job in introducing you to the concepts of keto and how to get started with it.

You Are What You Eat – So Eat These 10 Super Healthy Vegetables!

I’ve always loved eating fruit anf vegetables. Even when I was a young child, which my parents found to be quite amazing.

I’m not vegetarian, I do enjoy small quantities of both meat and fish, but it’s my vegetables that have always been the high point for me. Unfortunately I also got into the habit of liking lots of unhealthy snack foods as well, hence my excess inches around the waist!

So, when I saw this video detailing what it claims as the ten most healthy vegetables you can eat, I was quite intrigued to see what list they came up with and also how it compared with my own veggie intake.

Check out the list in the video over the next page…

This Injectable Weight Loss Drug Is Proving Very Effective

I don’t think this is going to be for me (especially at the price!), but some of you may find this interesting.

A new injection drug called Liraglutide (commonly referred to by it’s brand name Saxenda) is proving to be extremely effective in assisting with weight loss with many of the patients that have used it according to Ian Yip, a Woodland Hills endocrinologist.

The drug was first developed for diabetes treatment and is based on a human hormone that is found in the intestine. It’s certainly not cheap at around $1,000 per month, and many insurance plans will not cover it. But if all other efforts have failed, then perhaps this will finally work some

What do you think of this? Would you be willing to try it out? Please comment and let us know – Thanks

She Learned To “Stop Eating Her Feelings” And Lost 50 Lbs

The title of this post might seem to be a little bit bizarre at first, and I totally admit that was what I thought when I first read this interview.

It’s with a lady called Jaz Jackson, and it details how she finally managed to deal with the effects that depression and clinical anxiety were having both on the body and indeed her whole life.

I think that many of us will relate to what Jaz says. Read the interview over the next page…

How Jade Dropped 145 lbs Totally Naturally Without Surgery Or Trainers

We’ve all of us seen those articles about how this person or that person lost one hundred pounds plus in a week – right? And invariably our first thoughts are going to be something like “Yeah, sure. And what type of surgery did she have”.

It’s a natural thought to have (if maybe a little bit cynical), and normally it’s 100% justified.

So that’s why I found this story about a lady called Jade who managed to lose over 100 lbs without the aid of any surgery or (expensive) personal trainers so inspiring and intertesting. I hope that you enjoy it as well.
